The first meeting I attended of the Progressive Club was in Aug. 2010, and the fifteen women in attendance were all over the age of 75 except for one or two. I was a mere 66! At this meeting, a volunteer was requested to “help” with a fundraiser — 16 years of fundraising later….! The Progressive Club has provided some treasured friendships and shared goals with other women for community service and involvement. I am proud to still be involved in such a vital women’s organization.
